The hotel for the 2008 fly-In is the Hampton Inn of Rockford, just 10 minutes from the airport. This hotel will be remodeled before our arrival. We have reserved 50 rooms under the Meyers Aircraft Association for a rate of $89.00 that includes a hot or cold breakfast. Call 815-229-0404 to reserve your room. If you need smoking, be sure top request it then. Do not call the Hampton reservation number. Car Rentals can be reserved through Enterprise, 815-544-0999 or Hertz, 815-544-2054. There are numerous restaurants around the hotel. For the non-flyers there is nearby shopping, a Japanese garden, a train museum, and a golf course on the SE side of the airport.
